The Oni Gauntlet is the player's defining tool in Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Soul absorption mechanics
Every Genma you defeat releases souls in three colors. Blue souls restore health, red souls fuel magic attacks, and yellow souls act as currency for weapon upgrades. The Gauntlet absorbs nearby souls automatically after kills, but you can hold the absorb button to pull in souls from a wider radius.
